Anyone here seen Prince Caspian?  I heard it's not very good.

What a fantastic week for 360 DLC. Two Xbox games I've always wanted to play, nine Rock Band songs, and best of all: PAAOtRSPoDE1!

I heartily recommend Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull to all moviegoers.
That was a joke.

I need to see the other Indiana Jones movies first. I've been meaning to watch them for a long time because they seem pretty interesting.

Point of Advice: Skip Temple of Doom.  It's just not worth it.  But the other two are good.  And I still need to see the fourth.

Well, I thought Temple of Doom was great, but I also think Return of the Jedi is better than Empire Strikes Back, so my opinion can be disregarded.

Temple of Doom bad? What on earth is wrong with a delightful baseball-cap-wearing Asian kid, a sacrifice where this guy's heart is torn out, and elephants? There's just as much action and adventure in Temple of Doom as there is in the other Indy movies.

I agree with Turtlekid1. Temple of Doom was just alright. It had a strange plot (people were being hypnotized, come on). And a lot of parts were just for gross outs. It didn't really anything to do with the other two movies.

I think the problem with it is that it was supposed to happen before Raiders of the Lost Ark, but a lot of the things in Raiders don't make sense in that context. Like, I heard someone remark that it was weird for Indy to say he didn't believe in all that "superstitious hocus pocus" after the events of ToD. Unless, of course, he was just trying to make himself sound braver.

That, and it's completely ridiculous how, in the scene on the rope bridge, there's a gaping river in some shots, but you can clearly see in the wide shots that it's just a puny stream underneath them.

Prequels tend to be the scourge of any series (at least in the series I've sampled).

Temple of Doom was a prequel?
