Best: Wiggler in Mario Power Tennis

Worst: Funky Kong in Mario Kart Wii (felt a bit too random a selection)

If they make the game utilize Wii MotionPlus and use the Balance Board intuitively, I'd like to see how it turns out, as the original was criticized for the odd controls.

I agree there. I think it was the Smash Dojo that watered down the initial wonderment of Brawl since we knew all about it in advance. When reading about a game I avoid important things like story lines or "secret" game play mechanics (as with PMTTYD, SPM, and SMG) as so to be surprised.

I remember some girl in my 8th grade English class once asked "How do you spell 'we?' As in 'we would?'"

Suck up a Portrait Ghost in one effort (the more Large Pearls, the better).

I've read slash fiction that had more dignity than this.

Actually, it was inspired by the scene in The Blue Toad's "The Mushroom Kingdom's Annual Ball" when Peach hugs Bowser and Mario almost passes out.

Here's some more older ones:

2005

2006

2007

Well, since everyone else's doing it...

Here's a picture I drew recently of a flabbergast Mario.

And here's a picture of all the SMB2 enemies I drew 5 years ago, when I was experimenting with computer drawing, mainly in MS Paint. I remember that I put about 10 hours of time into this one.

No, I've noticed it for a while. I meant that only recently that it has started to bother me.

I've noticed recently that it doesn't seem like Koji Kondo is composing a lot of new Mario music anymore. Just about every game has a different composer, and Kondo is only credited with "Original SMB Theme." I doubt he's really getting involved with most, if not any, with it. Anywhere that he is credited with the composition of the song (like Mushroomy Kingdom for instance) it's just a remix of an old theme. Take Super Mario Galaxy for example:

Only four of the game's 81 songs according to the SMG soundtrack were new ones by Koji Kondo. They were Good Egg Galaxy and the three themes for the Comet Observatory. All the rest were either composed by Mahito Yokota or were Kondo's old Mario themes arranged by Yokota.

For some reason, this is one of my favorite works of art.
