Well, I got the chance to go to an invitational discus meet! Rather, it's an invitational meet and I'll be throwing discus at it. I can get about 120' when I'm lucky.

I read that as "discuss meet" and thought it was like a more polite version of a debate club.

It's like a debate club, except that each side always agrees to what the other is arguing. The average session lasts about six hours.

I have a week of exams, and then I am done. A three month break sounds really nice.

Had a really great time at prom. Had a really great time at post-prom. Played a DDR SuperNOVA machine and bowled for a few hours. Won a $25 gas card and sunglasses (don't drive and already wear normal glasses; not the only useless prize won, since a guy won a gift certificate for some women's makeup place or something and a girl won a gift certificate for a men's clothing store). Kalee won a 720p camcorder with 1GB of onboard memory (expandable using up to 32GB SDHC). We traded prizes under the condition that she'd still get to use the camera (which would probably have happened if I had won the camcorder in the first place anyway).

I got new shirts from hot topic today! I got this one of Flapjack and on it it says "I'm Beautious." I love it, haha.
That was sarcasm. c:

Two things!

--I got a copy of Ico for cheap and it arrived promptly on Saturday (I've been meaning to post about this for a bit). Good game (didn't come in the original box or with instructions, but that's okay), but I'm not getting many chances to play it now that the school week's started...
--After retrying my DoL test today, I got my driver's license. Well, my "intermediate license". Gotta be 18 before I get the real deal...

Good job getting Ico. All you need is 6 hours to beat it though (nothing wrong with a short game if it's one of the best ever) so your school week can't be that much of a bother.
That was a joke.

I know I said something in the chatroom, but I don't know how fast news travels..

My daughter gets to come home! We are leaving tomorrow to go pick her up, and I am taking Friday off. I may not be on here for a couple of days, so don't freak out if you don't hear from me.. :p

The comic shop mentioned in a post of mine a while back in ANGST isn't closing! Rather, he'll be moving to a different building at some point after the end of June.

EDIT: My brother and I now have proper Battle.net accounts; registering his StarCraft CD key gave him Brood War for free, so he'll be able to learn of the wonders of medics.

Today, I got my 8-page paper back that I wrote for my Literature and Psychology class on Narcissus and Goldmund... and I had received an A! WHEE!
