Author Topic: I got a .gba **How do I play it?  (Read 3785 times)

I got a .gba file of Super Mario World, but I don't know how to play it, and I'm dying to try it out. I also got the SNESTool, and the Ucon, but, I'm a fresh newbie and don't know what to do. Somebody help me pleasw.

Ok, first you need to find and download a GBA emulator. I recommend Virtual Boy Advance. Then, install your emulator, preferably in the same directory as the ROM, and open the ROM from inside your emulator.

I don't know what VirtualBoyAdvance is, but heres the link to download the newest up-to-date version of VisualBoyAdvance (What Chupperson meant to say). VisualBoyAdvance also runs .gb and .gbc files too. (Gameboy and Gameboy Color files.

Woo hoo! You guys are awesome, now, what type of file is a N64, like Zelda,:Ocarina of Time or Mario Kart?

There are three types. .n64, .v64, and .g64. But most emulators only run two or three types. But the Nintendo64 emulator that will run all three of those is Project64. Which is what I think is the best N64 emulator out there and it is availiable at www.pj64.net. Heh. When I saw the title, I thought you meant you got a GBA UNIT and didn't know how to play it! I was just about ready to reply "Uhhhh, try putting a game(you know, the cartridge-shaped thingies) in the big open slot and flip the 'ON' switch, maybe?", when I actually read your POST!
