Ummm... that's the Koopa from the movie, who was a completely different guy.

Aside from that, Mario's name is Mario (first and last), hence the Mario in the title "Super Mario Brothers" is refering to their last name.

Bowser can't have a wife, he's trying to marry Peach. Miyamoto wouldn't have impurities of such magnitude in his beloved Mario games.

Yeah, but is it your site?

My theory is that Lena was not Bowser's wife but one of his most loyal staff - say - his personal advisor or something. She probably had a crush on him, which is why she was insanely jealous of the "lost girls", Daisy in particular...

I don't think this site should be a reliable source of information. I could knock up a site right now that says "Luigi is not actually Mario's brother, I asked Nintendo and they said that Luigi is really a clone of Mario made by Wario!>!!!!"

Of course that wouldn't instantly mean I was telling the truth...

Uhuh! The Koopa Kid's mother isn't Lena. It is Clawdia! Clawdia and Bowser did the rain dance in 1981, and by their first appearance, they were about 9! Clawdia has left Bowser, so it's not Lena! I even asked a Nintendo rep!

Unlikely. There's bound to be a mother Koopa out there somewhere. We just don't have a name for her yet.

Could be Roseanne Barr for all we know...
