I loved Count Bleck. He was such a a likeable character, bent on destroying every world or not.

Well, keep in mind, these are the god figures of the Flipside dimension, not the Mushroom Kingdom. They could be entirely different there.

Afraid the hypothesis that the Paper games are a seperate world has two big problems.

Two things introduced in Paper Mario made their way into future non-Paper games. The Star Spirits in Mario Party 5, and Tutankoopa in Mario Pinball Land. Minor appearances? Sure, but I'd think it does well to counter the idea that the Paper Marios are outside of normal canon. They may be done in a different artstyle, but there seems to be nothing to suggest they're seperate plotlines.

Also, Toad Town- used in both Mario and Luigi games- debuted in Paper Mario. Aaaand in Hoohoo University, the ? block room has a "Block used in Paper Mario". Again, like the characters, these are somewhat minor, but help.

Steroids cause women to grow facial hair?

They can contribute to it- Many women have really thin and barely-noticable facial hair anyway- And even then, they usually take means to hide/get rid of it. But with steroids, that facial hair becomes much more visible.

"Til your games be over," is synonymous to "Til Death do you part," and since both of their 'games were ended' when Dimentio attacked and sent them to the Underwhere, their vows are over.

That's a very good point.

Bowser's and Peach's wedding is mentioned several times throughout the game, so what's so surprising to me is...

That there's no divorce/anullment to undo the marraige in the game at all, not even when you finish it. I can overlook small plotholes, but this is a pretty glaring error, unless the intent was to leave them married, which seems to be the case here.

Just an observation...

The reason I grew my mustache was because of the Mario series. And yes, mustaches are awesome, and deserve much mention in the games.

I LOVE the soundtrack to that game. Thank you SO much.

EDIT: Er, I hate to sound annoying, but how do you play these? They're pdf files.

I have the one rebuttal to this being a prank.

Japanese sites have pages on it, and Japan doesn't celebrate April Fool's Day.

To me, as long as they consistantly release platformers, adventures, and RPGs, it's okay to have karts/sports/parties too, so long as they don't replace the "main" aspects of the series.

Also, Luigi left out of the platformers?

Just recently, he was in Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros., and it's being heavily implied he has a playable role of some kind in Super Paper Mario as well.

As someone who grew up in the 1990s, I can't wait for this.

I actually found it fun. It's... different, yeah, but a fun game, to me anyway.

Perhaps it goes like this...

Mario Prime - Contains the Mario series, Donkey Kong Country* series, and Wario platformer series.

*Yes, DKC, because Kremlings have appeared in Mario games, as have Diddy and others.

Dr. Mario - Definete alternate timeline in which Mario's a doctor and Peach is a nurse.

WarioWare? - Maaaaybe a different continuity. No mention of Wario's past games, a new house in a city, and there's a map of Earth that indicates it may not take place in the Mushroom world at all.

SSB - No continuity at all. It seems implied that the characters are actually toys/trophies/whatever.

There's obviously more than one Wario out there, one of which is a plumber-type who lives in a castle and beats up on Mario all day, and the other of which lives in a house and runs a wacky video game corporation.

Yes, it's the return of the thoery of multiple universes. I'm thinking there's an infinite number of different worlds were a guy named Mario fights creatures called Koopas and stuff. That's the easiest way to explain the lack of continuity without causing your own head to explode.

I like that theory. Dr. Mario could be an alternate universe too. Which is probably the only explanation for Mario being a doctor at all.
