Are you really putting together a Wario Website??  Awesome!!  I'm taking a class next year in HTML design just to put together the ultimate Wario site.  I've come to the conclusion that I'm probably one of the biggest Wario fans in the world, so you know I can't wait to see what you've got goin'.

Well, I don't know.  I suppose it depends on what you're looking for.  Off the top of my head, here are some of my favorite N64 games:

-Smash Bros.
-Mario 64
-Perfect Dark
-Mario Kart 64
-Zelda:  Ocarina of Time
-Beetle Adventure Racing

Basically, if you don't need fighting games, RPG's, or (good) sidescrollers, snatching up an N64 and a couple games isn't a bad idea.

I'd wait for GameCube though.  It's just around the corner (relatively speaking) and looks to have a more diverse game line up.

Of course, being a sidescroller fan and owning an N64 meant going back to the old SNES fairly often to get my "sidescroller fix."

I don't know, man.  I don't really prefer one candidate over the other (including Nader and Buchanan).  If we could somehow combine the candidates positive qualities and create. . . MEGA PRESIDENT! :P

Though I'll admit, I'm leaning towards Gore.

Yeah, Boshi's a bad-ass :)  It kinda sucks though, it seems like Nintendo is willing to just sort of abandon all the characters that were introduced in Mario RPG.  I'm definitely going to miss Boshi.

What was the deal with Mario RPG, anyway? not only were Luigi and the Koopa Kids mysteriously abscent, but The Great Wario was missing as well.

Anyway, my favorite "baddie" is Wario, with Kamek and Lemmy Koopa tied for second.

-Wing Cap (Mario 64)
-Metal Cap (Mario 64)
-Hammer Bros. Suit (Mario Bros. 3)
-Spiky Shell (Mario Kart 64)

That's all I can think of at the moment.  I always thought it'd be kinda cool if there was some sort of power-up that let you sneak by badguys without getting hurt.  A Bowser mask or something. . . :)

-Zelda
-Rare

I'm going to have to say its a tie between KoRn, Limp Bizkit, Orgy, Three Doors Down, Papa Roach and Rammstein.  Yikes!  A 6-way tie!!

Personally, I think emulation is kinda lame.  Playing a rom on the computer just isn't the same as playing and owning the real thing.  With an emulator, you're stuck navigating with the stupid keyboard, hunched over in a computer chair, squinting at the monitor.  The emulator I *used* to use, wouldn't let me save my progress!  Frustration!!  When you own the acutal game though, you can check out the cool box art, flip through the manual, etc., etc.  Most importantly though, you get to use a familiar controller, and play the game on a nice TV screen.

As far as legality is concerned, I think that if a game is 10-15+ years old, a rom of the game should be acceptable, just because the company that produced the original game isn't making any money off it anyway.

Just my two(2) cents.

Ohh, geez, theres a bunch of MMM's for me.

1.  The Tanooki suit in Mario Bros. 3.  That was just too **** cool.

2.  Experiencing the Star World for the first time in Mario World.

3.  Rainbow Road in Super Mario Kart. Beautiful, man, beautiful :)

4.  Naval Pihrana Plant from Yoshi's Island.  One of my all-time favorite bosses.

5.  Just about everything in Mario RPG.  Very cool game :)

6.  Experiencing the beautiful surrealism of Mario 64 for the first time.

7.  Last, but in no possible way least, experiencing the inherent coolness/funniness/greatness of Wario in Mario Kart 64.  The W-man has gone on to be my all-time favorite character in the entire Mario Bros. universe.

First of all, Yoshi's Island is one of my all-time favorite games.  Beautiful graphics, intricate gameplay, super-cool bosses and *GASP* an interesting storyline in a Mario game!?

Seriously, I see no "fluff."  There was a decent challeng in finding all 100 points on each level, and some of those secret worlds were flat-out devious.  Don't call something "fluff" just because it was release within the past 6 or 7 years.

Yoshi's STORY, on the other hand, was a complete pile of steaming, "fluffy," donkey crap.

Yoshi's Island, to me, is just as "classic" as Mario Bros. 3 and Mario World.

We've seen every corner of the Mushroom Kingdom and then some... exotic isles and bustling cities and dense forests... but how does it all fit together?

That's what I'm asking you guys... preferably those of you with some spare time and photoshop skills.  I want to see how all of Mario's Worlds fit together in one image, one map that has the Mushroom Kindgom, Dinosaur Land, Yoshi's Island, Sarasaland, Wario Land, Sub-Con, Isle Delfino, the Beanbean Kingdom... the works.  Most of these places are Islands, so you can put 'em just about anywhere, but some of them (Beanbean Kingdom, Sub-Con) are a little more questionable. The trickiest part though, would be nailing down one complete version of the Mushroom Kingdom.

Hey guys.  TMK has some really cool pics of the original Japanese box art from the early Super Mario Bros. games, but they're kind of small/not wallpaper friendly. . . I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a site that has wallpaper-quality pics of the Japanese Super Mario Bros. games?  Thanks a ton.
