« on: March 24, 2003, 07:25:08 PM »
Oh, and one more thing. If you put in a website on where you got the answers to one of the questions then you lose 7 points. Now lets begin. I will also tel what type of game the question is for (Mario, Sonic, Crash, etc.)

Q1 (Mario): What was Mario's name in the origionaly Donkey Kong series?

Now post it!

General Chat / Web Site Building Program
« on: June 29, 2005, 03:08:36 PM »
Does anybody know of a GOOD FREE website building program out there? I'm been trying to search, but I haven't really gotten what I want.

It would just be a program to BUILD the website. Also, I can't do HTML, so no HTML programs, please.

I've been using Yahoo! PageBuilder (geocities), but I don't like there prgram very much (too many kinks). I am going to buy a domain name, I just need a program that will allow me to create the site.

Does anybody know of any good free ones?

General Chat / PLEASE! SOMEBODY HELP ME!
« on: June 07, 2005, 09:44:24 PM »
Sorry for using all caps, but thats the only way I can get someones attention... I think.

Anyways, I need some help with Yahoo PageBuilder. I'm building a website (www.geocities.com/tbkgm79)(it's currently up; go to it if you want to see what it's about) but... there are a couple things I want to do with it that... I don't know how to do.

Here they are:

1. I want to make a poll, but I don't know how.

2. I want to make a message board (forum), but I don't know how.

Can somebody tell me how to do this? Do you need HTML script, a program, what? Please help.

Thank you!

General Chat / Help and Assistance, Please
« on: May 14, 2005, 04:01:45 PM »
Hi!

Currently, I am making a website that is pretty much a fiction site. It is things that could be in the next Super Smash Bros. game. It is currently up and running, but under some heavy construction.

I'm asking you people if you can help me with the site by sending information or whatever else. There is an I Need Help section on the homepage of the site explaining what I need help with. Since TMK is full of kind, helpful folks I was hoping some of you could help me with some of it. I want to make it as comprehensive as possible.

The website is:
www.geocities.com/tbkgm79

P.S. I'm not advertising a website, I don't want to break the rules. I'm asking for help, so please don't accuse me of advertising the site. All I want is some help, honestly.

Forum Games / Mario Bloopers
« on: April 11, 2005, 03:03:54 PM »
I have no idea if something like this has been made previous, but I don't care.

The point of this thread is you make a blooper that would fit into some other Mario game. It would be like the bloopers in Mario Power Tennis that play when you beat a tournament, except that they can apply to ANY Mario game.

I can't think of any right now, so I'll let someone else start us off.

Video Game Chat / The Revolution!
« on: March 15, 2005, 11:33:06 PM »
This is reashuring!

I'm sure others have already heard of this by now, but Nintendo is going to release a new console sometime in the future. This console does not have an official name yet, but it is code-named Revolution.

It is supposed have state-of-the-art graphics systems and even a special (I believe built-in)... thing (I forget the name of it) that allows you to wirelessly connect and play with other REAL people.

A new console means new things... my biggest dream for this is a new Super Smash Bros. If you go to Nintendo.com you can view an article about it, and see the speech given at the GDC about it (and something about the DS). New beginnings are soon to evolve from this, like voice-recuignition and so forth. The best part about it is that it will be backwards compatible so you can play GameCube games on it! This is so... totally awesome!!!

This is so cool! I really need to get one of these when it comes out. This is all I know about this upcoming console, unfortunetally, but this info is enough to excite me for the time being.

This topic is about making challenges for a game. Pretty much its making things up that weren't already in the game, just fun things to keep you occupied with the game even longer.

Well, I first occupied my time by playing SSBM and beating classic mode on hard with every character (I beat it on very hard with Link & Roy). I just think it would be cool if the great people of TMK would come together and think of new ways to entertain yourself on a game.

Any game would work (just keep it to the GameCube). I recommend Mario games or its relations (SSBM), but any game would work.

Video Game Chat / Whats Up With the G3
« on: March 13, 2005, 10:24:54 PM »
I own two G3 controllers. One wireless and one with a wire. I have had the wireless one for about a year and the wired one for about 1/4 a year. The first game I ever played with the wired one was Mario Kart: Double Dash. However, too soon after I purchased the wired one, I became very disappointed with it.

Both G3's are WAAAAAAAAY too sensitive.

I don't know if this normal, or if there is a way to fix, but I'm just in for responses on this. Is there some specific use for these controllers? The only use I have found for them is for Mario Kart: Double Dash!! as that is the only game I own that I can easily play the game with.

Mario Chat / Sooooo.....
« on: January 05, 2005, 07:08:30 PM »
First off, don't yell at me if this has already been covered in another topic.

My question is "Is there going to be another Super Smash Bros. game?"
If so, please tell me the estimated release date.

Forum Games / Living in the Mushroom Kingdom
« on: November 21, 2004, 12:58:41 AM »
I know I haven't been here for a while. Sorry.
Anyways! You are a resident of the Mushroom Kingdom. You choose your name and your species (goomba, toad, human, etc.) and your occupation (plumber, Bowser lacky, etc.) and your name. When posting talk about yourself in the first-person. Don't forget to choose your side!

Name: Thomas
Species: Yoshi
Occu.: Tribe Member
Home: Lava Lava Island

[Just act as if you are that resident (like through the eyes of the Mushroom Kingdomers) getting up in the morning, etc.]

If I am not here for a while (and I mean a while) don't think I forgot about this place, because I am on a bit of a dilemma.

Game Help / The Perfect Town
« on: September 24, 2004, 05:34:22 PM »
After playing Animal Crossing, I attempted to get a perfect town rating. However, I continued to do what the wishing well said until it got to the "Things fare well by the large." I ended up getting past this message when another message came along saying "Yes, yes, this is definetally a satisfactory level of prosperity." How do get this message into the perfect town message! Help!

Which Mario character from the major Mario games is least favorite? Mine would probably be Boos from Super Mario Bros. 3 and SMW, because you can't get past them! Took me 4-EVER!
