My fave character is Bowser, partly for his delightful role in SMRPG. Mallow and Geno rock too, I'm a pretty big fan of them. And I'm fairly fond of Shyguys.

ummm, that would hafta be luigi, not cuz hes the under dog, its just, i think hes cooler than mario. mario is second on my list though. see, look, list!

I don't really care for the Sonic games...
But anyway, I agree, Booster's dialogue is so sparklingly ludicrous, it's definitely one of the best things in the game... I like the scenes where they're talking about "What's a party?" and the part with Peach crying at the wedding... Man, that's hilarious.
