...Umm, actually, they don't. PS2 has noticeably worse graphics than GCN. Less onscreen polygons + crummy textures & particle effects = worse graphics.

LD, you are right.  You understood.  And the PS2 looks like it's graphics are equal because of all the cel-shaded games.  SSBM doesn't have cel-shading and it has way better graphics than PS2.

Mario's history is almost as long as the videogame industry itself! This makes Mario a videogame legend! That is why we all like Mario!!
Plus, Mario is a unique character... an inspiration for all of us to make even better games, originated from a source most people call 'baby games'!!

The reason why I enjoy the Mario-games are because I played them as a kid, and they added a lot to my imagination. I get a silly smile on my face by playing them and once again remembering those days long gone by.

Dude, no it doesn't What's wrong with it? I bet all your reasons are stupid such as "It doesn't have Mario" and "It's not made by Nintendo" The PS2 has awesome games like the Gamecube. I like looooooooooooong games! Just like the PS2 has.

Uhm no they have the same gfx. You can tell by looking. like all their games have super detailed graphics right down to the last hair on a persons head. And it's not the graphics that matter. It's the gameplay. I hate these people who don't even look at the game for how good it is. they just judge a book by it's cover. And I don't really mean to start anything Chupperson, but do you live on these boards or something? Do you ever go outside and get any fresh air? Do you ever do anything that doesn't have anything to do with video games and/or TMK?
