Site Discussion / Re: "Guitar Tabs" Help
« on: August 15, 2007, 03:57:45 PM »
I used this website to figure out how to play guitar tabs: http://guitar.about.com/library/blhowtoreadtab.htm

It really is pretty straight forward; you should have no problem picking it up. :p

I've always liked Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card.  It's a pretty good book if you're into sci-fi and politics and things like that.

I really should read more books; I haven't been able to read at all (aside from Harry Potter :D ) lately.. it's pretty bad.  Maybe I'll take a trip to my library one day.

Mine was made because people always tend to pronounce the word 'lumpia' wrong (it's 'LOOM-pee-ah' not 'LUMP-ee-uh')  I put the definition and the pronunciation so no one has an excuse. ;D

I really like the tunnel one.  I wish I had myself a good tunnel to take a picture of where I live. Ah, and Pt_Peach your wallpaper is really adorable. I don't think I'd be able to bring myself to eat anything that had faces like that placed on them. :D

Anyway, here is a shot of my desktop: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/60296622/

I made the background image myself and used a Windowblinds skin to change the styles of my taskbar, window, etc.

Khold was pretty cool, too.. We totally swapped Animal Crossing: Wild World items back in the day.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Molly Weasley's infamous "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU ~" line.  Best part ever in my opinion.

Hope some of you all remember me.. I wasn't very active before, but I remember posting a couple times and making some friends here.

Anyway, hello!  Lumpia here; hopefully I'll make a comeback and stick around these forums for awhile. :p

Well, I'll be heading off to University of California Irvine next year.. The major? Dunno. I'm going in undeclared right now.

But like most of you, I'm probably going to go into the art/technology field.  And if that doesn't work, I've always wanted to become a teacher.  So I just might go ahead and do that.  I mean shoot, I get to take summers off like the students! How cool is that?

It looks as though the fat lady hasn't sang for the Gamecube just yet. :)

However, I'm slightly confused as to how they'll implement a coherent (well, coherent as far as Mario games go) story line to explain the super crazy whacked out graphics and the apparant ability to spontaneously morph from a fat, Italian plumber to a dainty princess to the king of Koopas in the blink of an eye.

*shrugs*

Though I'm perfectly sure Nintendo has figured this all out and has a surprisingly deep, intricate story line that explains everything.  Or not.  I mean heck, the Paper Mario series in itself already defies logic... Who could've imagined Mario as a piece of loose-leaf before the first Paper Mario for the N64 came along?

Heh.. Am I the only one who has been playing the game just about every day since I got it?  I know it may sound a bit extreme, but I suppose it has become part of my daily routine by now.

mon - thurs:
come home from school, snack, computer, dinner, water red turnips and flowers, pluck out weeds, dig up fossils and gyroids, check Nook's, talk to all my villagers, brush teeth, then bed.

fri: check stuff when Redd comes to visit.
sat: pick up a tune from KK Slider before bed.
sun: wake up early to buy some red turnip seeds from Joan.

It's sad, really.

..

With that said, does anyone have these items by chance?

- modern end table
- modern wardrobe
- florence flask
- medicine chest

Oh wow, that would be pretty cool, pt_peach. (so cool, in fact, that it actually inspired me to post. :D )

I just might try that one day once I get around to it.  Thanks for the awesome idea.
