Here's a few I use for MSN. These are my more current ones, for I have way too many already.

I probably have at least 10 different Leo Pictures that I am constantly switching during conversations.

Brief explaination about the yoshi avatar. It's a character from a series of fanfics that I wrote. Said character has a crush on Luigi. You could say she's loosely based on myself.

And let's face it. Other then the fact that Yoshi can turn purple in Super Mario Sunshine, purple yoshis don't get much attention.

Otherwise, I don't use avatars on forums usually.

I've only been on about five different forums during my time on the internet [in before someone says "AND IT REALLY SHOWS, DURR HURR"], and this is just the second to permit uploadable avatars. On the other, I'd been using this at the time of its abandonment:
