Mario Chat / Re: BEST AND WORST IN SERIES? Week 28: Lava/Fire Levels
« on: October 29, 2008, 02:31:54 PM »
Best:  Super Mario 64.  So much stuff in it, like angry bull balls, a rolling log, and even a mini-volcano.  Plus shell surfing is fun!

Worst:  Super Mario Sunshine.  Way too short, and rushed.

Is it possible to play all the e-reader levels through action replay or any other cheat devices?

Best:  Paper Mario TTYD:  I though his size was good, and was an amusing character.  His levels were so much funner than Peach's.

Worst:  Super Mario Sunshine:  He felt very tacked on because he was easy to beat, was too big but had no reason to be that size, had a silly voice, and just felt rushed.

Video Game Chat / Re: Why Melee Is Better Than Brawl
« on: October 14, 2008, 04:07:11 PM »
I think Brawl is better than Melee.  I like the controls in Brawl, Melee's controls felt way too slippery and unresponsive.  Plus, characters like Falco and Ganondorf have slighty more different than their counter-parts in Brawl.  Online was an excellent idea, but definetly could have been better.  I think the reason why Brawl is getting alot of hate is the programmers revealed way too much info before release, when finally released, everyone wasn't satified because there was nothing new left.

Best:  Paper Mario: TTYD.  The characters were very interesting and likable.

Worst:  SMRPG.  Too many weirdos that feel tacked on at the last minute.

Bowser's game could be a real time strategy!

I like playing as Bowser, and playing him in a Mario and Luigi game sounds fun.  How come Wario and Donkey Kong never appear in a Mario RPG?  Besides maybe a few cameos?

Mario Chat / Mario crossovers?
« on: October 01, 2008, 09:27:56 AM »
Mario has been in a few crossovers, like The olympics games and the Super Smash Bros. series.  However, what if he had an actual adventure crossover, like a Paper Mario game or an 3-D platformer game where he has to collect 120 shiny things along with Link,or Sly Cooper, or maybe with the Green Lantern?

Mario Chat / Best size for Bowser?
« on: September 27, 2008, 10:15:57 AM »
Bowser changes sizes it seems, how big do you like him to be?  The same size like in Super Mario Bros, slighty bigger as in Super Mario RPG, his usual size like in Mario Galaxy, much bigger like in Paper Mario, or his extremely large size like in Luigi's Mansion or in Super Mario Sunshine?

Mario Chat / Re: BEST AND WORST IN SERIES? Week 23: Storyline
« on: September 23, 2008, 02:40:46 PM »
Best:  Paper Mario:  TTYD, the storyline was wondeful, so were the characters.

Worst:  Mario Bros.:  You are just kicking little creatures around.

Mario Chat / Yoshi's body shape?
« on: September 20, 2008, 05:25:18 PM »
Hello everybody, its poll time!  Yoshi seems to change his body sometimes.  Do you like his raptor shape body better, like in Super Mario World and SSBM; or do you like the newer shaped body better, like in Mario Party and alot of recent Mario games?

Mario Chat / Re: Best Mario RPG
« on: September 14, 2008, 10:26:38 AM »
I think that Paper Mario: TTYD is the best Mario RPG.  It had a great storyline, characters, and battle system.  Mario and Luigi: SS comes second, because I really liked the battle system and it was a really fun game.

Latest News / Re: Mario Super Sluggers Released in North America
« on: September 13, 2008, 11:07:19 PM »
I actually found Sluggers to be alot better than the GC one.  I like the controls much better and the challenge mode is actually fun.  Plus, there are more features to play with and more characters to use.  Overall, Mario Super Sluggers didn't add too much, but improves alot on the gameplay.

Game Help / Mario Superstar Baseball?
« on: September 13, 2008, 12:17:20 AM »
I can't seem to beat the challenge mode.  The A.I. is really cheap and annoying.  Any hints on beating challenge mode?  I seem to struggle mostly with pitching.

Mario Chat / Re: The Hardest Mario Game
« on: August 29, 2008, 12:01:57 AM »
The Wario Ware games I've played are twisted and smooth.  Twisted is by far the best handheld game to feature the motion thingy.  The mini-games are good, wacky fun and there is a good amount of features like the souvenirs, it also manages to be challenging without feeling cheap.  Smooth was a great game, but it just wasn't as good as twisted, it was just missing something.
