I noticed the lack of "classic" ghosts. Sure, Boos were in there, but they didn't have the shy traits...There have been dozens of ghost and undead characters in the Mario universe, like Erries, Dry Bones, Boney Beetles...and of course, the unforgettable "Boo Buddies" who shared various emotions/expressions. I was in a way, disspleased with the "new" ghosts.

i just don't like that it's more of a 'luigi' game than a 'mario' game
i don't mean that i don't like luigi being the main guy..i LOVE luigi
i don't like that it's 'go around this mansion and vacume up ghosts and examine stuff and ultimitly save mario'
i want a 'go jump on goombas' or to keep with the haunted mansion stuff 'go jump on ghosts'

That game stunk. It had Luigi in the starring role. That was the only cool part. I was dissapointed when none of the ghosts from super Mario Land 2 were in it.

I think it was a worthy first GC game. It was a bit short, but it was jam packed with stuff!
