With the release of the e-cards and the MP3 thingy for GBA it is clear that this outstanding handheld may one day be the swiss army knife of the handheld world.

Yes, the years to come will be the golden age of Nintendo!
That was a joke.

Wouldnt it be awsome if they released a slew of NES greats on the e-cards? Games like Castlevania or Legend of Zelda in original 8-bit glory!

Uh, earth to Ooze.

They are!

There are already over 10 NES games on the e-cards

Yes I know but half havnt been released and I highly doubt that it will contain Legend of Zelda or Castlevania or Ninja Gaiden or a mario game etc. etc. So far it looks as if only simplistic games like balloon fight an D.K. Jr. are being released By the way have you guys seen that cool claymation comercial for them yet?

« Reply #5 on: September 26, 2002, 05:49:01 PM »
Yeah, that claymation commercial was pretty cool. But anyway, my Nintendo Power article about e-reader said they would be releasing Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Baseball, Urban Champion, and Ice Climber as the next batch of NES games. Cool, huh?

That's cool. But see, in order to stay within their apparent 5-card package limit, they can only have the games that were like 128 kilobits. Otherwise, there would have to be way more cards, and probably more than the e-reader's RAM capacity.

Next stop: Animal Crossing, e-reader and GBA-GCN link cable... all aboard...

P.S. There are over 750 NES games, so I highly doubt they will ever have them all on GBA.

I don't have a ton of spare cash to waste on the e-reader and I don't really want it either. I spent a 100 dollars on Gameboy Advance and I barely play that.

They're going to have a Legend of Zelda remake on the GBA.

Girl: Hey, we`re all calling this guy up and yelling at him. You want to try?
Frostbite: Why would I do that?
Girl: He`s really mean. He calls people crackers.
Frostbite: So? Why should I care?
Girl: You`d want to be called an hors d`oeuvre?
Frostbite: If you think crackers are hors d`oeuvres, you must be poor.
Girl: Ew!
