All lichenomycete fungi reproduce sexually, the deuteromycetes are asexual.  Deuteromycetes are composed of 3 phyla: Basidiomycota (true mushrooms), Ascomycota (pseudomushrooms), and Chytridiomycota (chytrids).

They also call him Bowser in the episode where he's trying to get elected as king of the Mushroom Kingdom or something like that.  It seems like they called him Bowser a lot, I don't know why you're talking about this.

Game Help / Powerglove?
« on: November 04, 2000, 09:39:09 AM »
I remember a Nintendo product advertised long ago called the "Powerglove."  It was like an alternate controller, only it actually fit around your hand.  I never knew anyone who owned one, or heard anything about it for years.  Does anyone remember this, or did I dream it?

Mario Chat / Re: ShyGuys Vs. The Goombas

I prefer Goombas, but shy Guys seem smarter (not walking off of cliffs and all).  Has there ever been a place that had both Goombas and Shy Guys, from "Super Mario Bros. 2" or "Yoshi's Island?"

Since there is a Tanooki (Tanuki Raccoon Spirit in Japanese mythologysuit, I think there should also be a Kitsooni (Kitsuni Fox Spirit) suit that gave you a fox tail that allowed you to run faster and pass through enemies and some walls when at max speed, and also the stone power.  Then there could be a Tengoo (Ten-gu Crow Spirit) suit that gave you wings like the wing cap, and the ability to see hidden powers and items in blocks.  Finally, a Kap (Kappa Turtle Spirit) suit that is only useful as a shell to protect you when you duck down on land, but in water gives you frog suit-like swimming powers and the ability to shoot spines at enemies.  What d'ya think?

Mario Chat / Re: About Myamoto's "Mature" Mario
« on: June 12, 2000, 11:08:47 AM »
It seems to me that Mario used to be more "mature."  In "Mario Bros." and "Super Mario Bros." he had adult proportions, then in "Super Mario World" he looked like a cartoon character.  I'm not sure about "Super Mario Bros. 2" and "3" because I haven't played the original version without the "Super Mario All-Stars" changes in years.  The V-sign seems too politically correct for me.
