I think Luigi will have moves borrowed from Luigi's Mansion, like "Vacum Attack!".

And by the way, the information I provided is the only real hint of his existance in SSBM. There's has been no information provided by Nintendo besides that one. And Luigi isn't in any of the hundreds SSBM screenshots (like the ones in IGN) , while the possible hidden character Zelda/Shiek is.

I registered so I could tell you this! Don't think I'm lying only because I am a newbie!

By the way, my English is far from perfect, so forgive for any problems with the words in, on and at.

Here's how to reach to the official information that Luigi will be in SSBM:

Nintendo launched an official Luigi's Mansion Site. The Url is: http://www.luigis-mansion.com/

You need Quicktime and Flash to view the site.

Click the button that says: "Enter The Lab".

Once the site is loaded, click on the bookshelf.

Then choose a book named: "History Of Luigi".

The book is about, duh, Luigi's history.

The last page has a list of all the games Luigi has been in. The list includes games were he had a lead role like "Super Mario Bros." and games where he had a small cameo in, like "Tetris".

Check the last game in the list.
The game is: "Super Smash Bros. Melee - GCN - 2001."

So, good new to Luigi fans.

I have to admit it: I didn't expect Luigi to be in SSMB because I thought to many people were angry because his attacks were too similar to Mario's attacks in the original Super Smash Bros.
