Author Topic: luigi's mansion for wii (idea)  (Read 10977 times)

I recently played luigi's mansion, and I was complete addicted to it, it's the only game I played for a week! but after playing this for so long, I wondered to myself, what would luigi's mansion on the wii sound like, then I thought luigi's mansion should get a new game because even though it was impacted in brawl, I just don't think it got the respect it deserved. that's all I have to say.
can I take a bite of your snout?

I've had some ideas for a new luigi's mansion. I was thinking it could take place in a haunted castle, and imagine the controls with the wii! move the wiimote around (not pointing-at-the-screen type) and holding down A to suck in with the vacuum and B to turn off the flashlight.

Oh and shouldn't this be under Mario Chat?

20 years after the first Luigi's Mansion, Luigi recieves a letter from Mario, who has long since died, with the return address of the mansion. When he arrives in the surrounding town, he finds it deserted, with signs of rioting (dead bodies, crashed SWAT vans and the like). Then a fog begins to set in, and Luigi is hunted by unseen monsters in the mist; terrified, he takes refuge in the mansion and slowly discovers the horrors that await him in the mansion's undergound torture chambers...

I like the idea of a new Luigi's Mansion, but I don't know how well it would sell without a decent amount of hyping. Additionally, make it too gory and you'll turn off a lot of people. Glorb.

I liked the cover image, but "realistically frightening" isn't something we'd see in a Mario-- err, Luigi game. "Comically disturbing" is how I'd describe Luigi's Mansion.

I thought of what scares me most, and the answer is quite obvious:
Edward has always dreamed of becoming a female monkey.

Luigi's Mansion 2: Srsly guys, it's a real platformer this time, not a glorifed tech demo.

I think that would rule.
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

Somehow, I think Weegee will find his way into a new Luigi's Mansion...

Somehow, I think Weegee will not find his way into Luigi's Mansion as he is the awkward product of not-Nintendo game. Also, Luigi's Mansion can't be a platformer, it's indoors! And you know you're not supposed to jump on the furniture.

How is fixed dead? I made a thread in the Forum Games orignally titled Fixed. But then somebody changed the title. *looks at Luigison.

I could totally imagine a game where the real Luigi gets stalked by a cel-shaded 3D Weegee.  Of course, they'd have to include the line, "Say, M, I left my toothbrush back in the Big Apple..."
CURSE YOU... SOMEBODY!
