Before I leave TMK and depart for TUNMBs Zelda Board I have this one thing to say...

You may think Super Mario Bros. has eight
worlds. You're wrong. It has 35 worlds. Using a Game Genie, it is possible to alter the "warp" code to take you to these worlds. They are mostly clones of other levels, or "glitch" levels with random objects. To play a level with a Game Genie, enter the codes "YSAOPE" and "YEAOZA" and the code listed in parentheses. Some of the better NES emulators will allow you to enter Game Genie codes.

Stuff about the levels(usually):

The pipes don't work; if you go down a pipe, you are taken to the beginning of the level. This is also true with falling in a cloud bonus area.

The enemies are sometimes the same as the normal level, but sometimes they are completely different. This also applies to elevator platforms since the game classifies them as enemies.

The right side of a balance platform is often nonexistent (it looks like it's there, but it isn't). Another platform, koopa shell, etc. acts as the other half.
After finishing a castle, the game freezes.

And in one of the underground levels that has an accessable warp zone, go down a warp pipe not marked with a number and wou will be instantly whisked away to the ol' minus world. I hope a page about this is made on TMK! And I get credit for it >=D

And if you just use the code PPPPPP without the first two codes, the overworld music will be changed to the underground music and it'll be all messed up!b

There's really no reason to leave, you know?
That was a joke.

Oh who am I kidding!
How can I leave this place! I consider everyone here a friend so I'm not leaving.

Those new levels posted above weren't my discovery. I thought it would be a great idea if I brought them  up.

But.......
I have discovered these worlds and have called them the Shanes Worlds on account of I discovered them.

To get to them, you must have a NES GameGenie and a SMB/DuckHunt Cartridge. Or you could use a SMB/DuckHunt Rom. In the first two GameGenie lines enter YEAOZA and YSAOPE. Then enter one of the following codes. Entering YEAOZA and YSAOPE without a third code will take you to World 0.

One of them is an underwater version of 1-1, and one of them is an unnderwater bonus level. And one of them, seriously, takes you to the japanese SMB minus world! It's an underwater version of 1-3 and it has a floating (hammer throwing) bowser!

Shanes World #1 SOAPYE
Shanes World #2 SOAPYA
Shanes World #3 SEAPYE
Shanes World #4 SXAPYE
Shanes World #5 SXAPYA
Shanes World #6 EEAPYE
Shanes World #7 EEAPYA
Shanes World #8 EOAPYE
Shanes World #9 EOAPYA
Shanes World #10 EXAPYA
Shanes World #11 EXAPYE
Shanes World #12 OEAPYA
Shanes World #13 OEAPYE
Shanes World #14 OOAPYE
Shanes World #15 OOAPYA
Shanes World #16 OXAPYE
Shanes World #17 OXAPYA
Shanes World #18 XEAPYE
Shanes World #19 XEAPYA
Shanes World #20 XOAPYE
Shanes World #21 XOAPYA
Shanes World #22 XXAPYA
Shanes World #23 XXAPYE
Shanes World #24 AXAPYE
Shanes World #25 NEAPYE
Shanes World #26 NEAPYA
Shanes World #27 NOAPYE
Shanes World #28 NOAPYA
Shanes World #29 NXAPYE
Shanes World #30 NXAPYAShanes World #19 is quite weird. Let me use @ to represent the weird glitchy thing that represents what world it is.
World @-1 is 2-1 but if you go through the end pipe you will be sent back to the beggining of the level. To beat it you have to get to the warp zone and of course you will see 3 pipes. The middle one has a 5 above it indicating it will take you to 5-1. But the two unmarked end pipes will take you to the annoying minus world. You want to go down the one with the 5 above it. If you die in 5-1 you will be taken to the start of @-1. If you beat 5-1, you will be taken to @-2. Beat @-2 to be taken to @-3.
@-3 is really weird. Its world 1-4 but at the end you fight a hammer throwing bowser. Beat him to rescue the princess. But at the end princess toadstool strangely says:

.             Thank You Mario

.          But our princess is

.           in another castle...

I will use $ to represent Shanes World #20.

It has levels $-1 through 9 at first. But after that you're taken to level $-A. $-A is a castle level in which you cant move and you just wait for the time to run out and die.
