i came up with a new phrase: " what in the name of Mario is going on here? " or something like that. Try using that phrase whenever you wonder what is going on

Uh, all I have to say is that you used the wrong "metal" in your name. It should be pedal to the metal, dude.

That was probably intentional.

What in the name of Mario is the purpose of this thread.

(This post has a double meaning, depending on how you interpret the period on the end.)

"trainman) oops! my huge mistake! thank you for reminding me trainman!"

No problem.

Since this thread has no point, I have my chance to make some comments about things:

Todd, shame on you for saying anything bad that Chupperson had to edit.

Also, I'm packing my bags and about to leave this forum. I'm sick of all the idiots coming here really screwing everything up and I'm sick of no staff member doing anything about, letting it simmer, procrastinating, ignoring the matter, or frankly just not giving a crap about it.

Thank you, and have a nice life.

Beginning as of now is the "Strike System."

If you break one of the rules, you get one warning first, then three "strikes"--or chances to get away with breaking the rules--without 'punishment'
If broken three times, you are at the mercy of the admins' discretion, meaning you are subject to being banned. However, if you EDIT your OWN remarks after realizing you could get a "strike" for it, and it's BEFORE a mod/admin has to edit it, you'll be fine.
In other words, if a post has to be edited for lack of following a rule, STRIKE. Don't get caught. >:P

Every time a person's post is edited, I will discretely put at the bottom "Warning," "Strike 1," etc.

ALSO!! Depending on the severity of the "crime" depends on how many strikes you get. The common ones, like swearing and spamming = 1, but something like posting porn, etc, is an automatic ban. (But you all knew that)

I apologize for having to be so strict; I really don't WANT to have to do this, but these boards have gotten out of hand.  Don't trifle with me on this one.

You edited your own post; does that mean YOU have a warning?

Wait, so is this "Strike Systtem" to be instituted by all moderators, or is this just your idea?

And if the latter is true, can I devise some other crazy system for warnings and bans?

Because, I too am sick of every thread here becoming a flame war.

PS: So you're now responsible for handling bannings here? As such, should I report all things I see to your E-mail, or...?

I.S.:
The "Strike System" was simply my idea-- just something I was gonna start doing since I'm so sick of all this crud. If the other mods/admins wish to go with it, too, that'd be great, but it's not required. :)

What's your idea for another "crazy system"? Heh. Input is all good.

PS: Well, I'm one of the several people who are capable of banning, so I don't do it solely. Naw, you don't have to email me or anything. Hmm...actually, I think it'd be a good idea to create a thread about this, so everyone will be able to see it. I guess sitings of "misbehavior" could be reported there. (I just hope it won't turn into a tattle-tale issue XD)

Edit: Yeesh, my grammar and spelling skills sure are going down the drain as of late... -_-'
