Sorry, it's just that you answered him on how he died and got me confused. But stiil, you're right. It was rediculous. Eggman wasn't even outside of the ARK when Shadow "died." How could he possibly save him from burning up in the atmosphere?

Well, they gave him amnesia as an excuse, but when the fans demanded real answers, we got Shadow the Hedgehog, the most pitiful excuse for a Sonic game ever. (Worse than Sonic Shuffle, actually.)

Actually during the final fight against Black Doom, Eggman reveals that he saved Shadow somehow from his death. I'm not sure on the details though, but Shadow never actually died.

That would actually be a pretty good idea. It would be more accurate for Joe's abilities in his game and make the abilitly different from Zelda/Sheik's transformation.

But what if Mario can't harness chaos energy? I don't why he would be, the emeralds aren't even from his world. But then the bigger question would be why Sonic would even fight Mario in the first place when they're both good?

Well, he didn't really just become paper. That was all based around style. And since Gombella was only in Paper Mario, she would only know about being made of paper by your logic.

Then again those were only really meant to empower the Shadow Queen and unlock the 1000 Year Door. Is was more of everyone's wishes empowering Mario. Besides, I don't think humans can enter a Super form. Otherwise Dr. Robotnik would try to do it.

The Paper was just a style thing. It just happens that the curses all have to do with paper. Besides, if everyone was made of paper all the time, would you really need to comment on it? "Holy crap! I'm 3-Dimensional!"

Robotnik called him the God of Destruction. So did Knuckles, and he would have known what he was talking about. You're only saying Sonic would lose because you hate him, which is kind of silly.

Even without the emeralds, Sonic would be too fast for Mario, due to him being able to travel at sonic speeds. Mario can't hurt what he can't hit.
