I don't think Mario EVER wore a blue HAT, other than as Player 4 in SMA MB Battle, and there he had yellow overalls.

Ok...let's see.. it WAS a major game...can't be SMB1, he wore tan and red, can't be SMB3, he wore black and red...can't be SML1 or 2, those weren't in color...Not SMW... Ok. It's either Mario Bros. or Super Mario Bros. 2. Okay. My final answer will have to be, again, Mario Bros.

Well, Luigi is better than Mario just in Super Mario Bros 2 (both versions) because he can jump higher. Well,at least, I think it's better :)
