Perfect Idea, they should make a Mario AND Luigi game. It would be a huge hit. They can bring back the fir flowers and all of the old enemies. Who agrees?

I have been begging Nintendo to bring back the NES style Super Mario Bros. with no results.  According to the people I have contact, there is no such game in the works.  Also, they said there knew of no plays to make another SMAS for the Cube.

According to the Japanese version, SMB4 is nothing other than SMW  ( I believe it's written on the Jap box art)

That is correct, SMW is also known as SMB4, not to mention that weird Game Boy hack that someone called Super Mario Bros. 4... anyway...
