10 years old...same goes for The Metroid Database, but that's a few months older though. It is still impressive.

Today I wish a happy 11th birthday to this site. Sadly, I have no bread.

I have a full beard now.  It didn't take 11 years.

What's even creepier is that we've had a few members who are younger than TMK.

Happy Birthday, TMK. I was 7 years old when the site was created.

Me: Why?

I was 7 too. I'm having a hard time believing it's been a year already since the 10th anniversary, let alone 10 since the site started, or about 6 or 7 since I found it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY :) and I have nothing else to say...
Time is repeating itself. Why you say? Look at the Wii and NES and you'll know why.

That's certainly creepy.

I thought you had to be at least 13 to be on this forum?
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I'd say it's more of a guideline than an actual rule; the general overview is that most sub-13 year olds aren't mature enough to participate in a forum environment effectively.

I'm pretty sure it's an actual rule. If they're under 13, Deezer sends their parents a letter pleading with them to not let their kid join the forums, as there are already enough grammar-neglecting IQ-droppers hanging around. Unfortunately, the parents sign the paper and thus launch another cannonball into our diminishing hull of decency.

If it was an actual rule, Deezer would just send a letter saying "No, your kid can't join until he/she is 13, come back when you're older." So, someone can't really be banned for being too young, just that the underage people who are banned just generally turn out to be morons.

Still, you can get idiots of all ages; being older didn't stop Fairemaster from being banned, for example.
