What do you think will happen when Miyamoto retires? Will everything go fine, will there be an armegeddon, will the world come to an end, will I be beaten to a bloody pulp for even mentioning those horrible words? Post your version of what you think will happen in a Reality and Fantasy version. Example:
Reality: Miyamoto will be replaced with some other guy. That guy might be horrible at coming up with ideas and Mario's future games might be a flop. IF that guy knows what he's doing. That guy might be bad at drawing Mario so he might screw him up.
Fantasy: The world would come to an end.

My Quote: "Yesterday, when I''m smaller.... I wanna fight that Mario the day before yesterday."

Reality:The world would come to an end.

Fantasy:X-Boxes would come to life and enslave the earth.
Deezer was here.

I'm sorry, Zha-Zha, but when Miyamoto retires, Nintendo will slip ever so slightly, like pigs in a rainforest on July 4th.

So, by the comments I've heard so far everybody will cry (plus me) and the world will come to an end. Does someone else have any input, Deezer, Chupperson, anybody?

I've honestly never thought about it.
They would probably stop making Mario and Zelda games... and lose a lot of money.

Eccentricity is my goal.
That was a joke.

You still up Chupperson? Since I'm still on school vacation I stay up late but you're the only one so far that has stayed up as late as me I guess.

Whoops! I sounded like an idiot in my last post, Chupperson. I got a little confused with army time.

They will not stop making Mario and Zelda games when Miyamoto retires. They've already made four Zelda games and many, many Mario spinoff games without him.

Let's just hope that if that happens that the games wont suck.

Well, I bet the games wouldn't be as good as the others, but I mean, there still going to be good, right?

It''s proven that a train vs. a car, truck, or even a semi truck, is like a car vs. a soda can. I wonder what would happen to the cow.. heh heh. Fresh meat, anyone?

The games are as good as Miyamoto's. He creates/created all the basic premises for his series, but other groups can make new games like them that are just as good. Miyamoto is just extremely innovative and makes the games move in new directions. All the other games, like the Capcom Zeldas, stick to the established forumlae pretty well.

when he retires, I'm sure he'll have some say, in who continues the mario legacy. plus, remember that he isn't the only one that works on the games. Perhaps the others can help too.
