It seems as though Grunty has fallen upon hard times since Banjo-Tooie. Considering that's the same publisher (Phoenix games) that gave us this, that boxart is probably their Magnum Opus.

Elaborate games = "Broken"? No, author = idiot!

That article is very good and informative, however, I disagree with some points. I know games at times can be boring with a lot of text in the beginning, but a few of them are not "broken" or bad. Most of the Mario RPGs have text in the beginning, but is that really showing off that the creators can create a good story? In the case of the Mario RPGs, no. They are simply telling you what is going on, how to stop it, and usually, the enemy's plans. Besides, the text isn't even that long. If you skip it all, it probably will take around 1-3 minutes to get playing.

Also, games like the Zelda series have many cutscenes, yet they are considered classics. I disagree with the author about saying that only the first games with many cutscenes aren't "broken," because most of the games that I have played with a lot of cutscenes were very fun and easy to play.
The Mario series is the best! It has every genre in video games but RTS'! It also has a plumber who does different roles, a princess, and a lot of odd creatures who don't seem to poop!

No, that's actually a movie. I saw it on the shelves on Blockbuster once.

Actually, it's the boxart for the movie tie-in game on the Sega Widescreen. Not a very popular console.

Anyone want this four-foot statue? Regularly $4,000, but today only $2699.99!
