I'm going to go with the Chupperson Weird Defense and say that the odds of multiple songs using that repeating pattern of three notes is quite high. Back me up here, CW.

When I first heard Ice Box, I was actually reminded of that mysterious piano tune from Chrono Trigger.

And I wouldn't say that's a terribly common note pattern; I haven't heard it outside of Zelda and said song.
