In Canada, using non-"ethnic" names in textbooks is practically a crime. Apparently, three out of every four Canadians are named Abu, Fatima or Shaneequa.

Dear TMK, I'm currently facing a bit of a dilemma: I've just bought Chrono Trigger for the DS, and I'm now in the process of naming the main character's bespectacled ladyfriend. Her default name is Lucca, but in keeping with my main character being named Mario, what would be the most suitable Mario-related name I could give her? Would "Peach" be appropriate, or would Marle be a better candidate for that title?

Marle seems more like Daisy to me. Ultimately it depends on who you ship, both in Mario and CT.

Alright. Lucca is Daisy, Marle is Peach, and they are known collectively as Mario's *****.

I think my brother tried to name everyone in CT (the original) after Mario characters, too--minus any sexually demeaning nouns, of course.

Robo should be Toad.

Would "TEC" be innacurate/too obscure?

As of yet I've been playing Chrono Trigger for eleven of the twenty-six hours since I got it. As for names...

Chrono = Mario, for obvious reasons.
Lucca = Daisy, as I had assumed that she'd be more tomboyish than Marle.
Marle = Peach, as she sets the game's events into motion by needing to be rescued constantly.
Robo = DK, simply because he's chunky and physically-oriented... In retrospect, ROB might've been better.
Frog = Toad, as his unwavering servitude to the queen seems fairly in-character, along with his uncanny namesake.
Ayla = Samus, because the wellspring of fitting Mario names had run dry by her point.

I might've considered all your suggestions had I been aware of them... My apologies.

TEC would've worked also. Next time I play CT..

Ayla could be Pauline, maybe. Both are primitive and.. blonde? Pauline's a brunette, but it still would work

I think that name has one too many letters. After inspection of the manual, you can only have up to six letter names.

Question that's been bugging me for the past while: If KonTek hosts TMK, who hosts KonTek? Is there really some endless paradoxical cycle of web hosts that host other web hosts? Do even big players like Google and Yahoo have web hosts?
