I used an Emulator when I learned that the game existed. I didn't know any other method back then. I don't have to use an emulator anymore since my sister has owned an American SNES and SMRPG cart for a few years now.

I've played and beaten all of the Mario RPGs except PM and SMRPG, and I'd say my favorite is PM2
