The DeLorean in the pic is one from Back to the Future.
He's back. All you had to do is ask. Super Mario Bros. 3 from Nintendo. Now you're playing with POWER! (SMB3 NES commercial)

The 80's?

You mean the era in which Michael Jackson hadn't yet transformed into a pasty, white lady?
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

Yes. The era with Max Headroom, Nintendo Entertainment System, the last breath of disco, Ronald Reagan as president of the USA, Atari 2600's downfall, cell phones the size of bricks, Back to the Future, the movie "The Wizard", Etc.

I remember seeing an episode of Max Headroom back in 1999, and it scared the crap out of me.

the ' 50s? Are you using a computer that takes up an entire room? Or a car that if made today would not pass crash tests?

Also, one of the things that was cool in the 80's was MS-DOS. I mean, Bill Gates was a genius. He made people shell out $30 - $40 for what was essentially a blank screen with "C:>" on it. Sure, around v5.0 it actually DID something, but remember the olden days of DOS, back when you couldn't do diddly squat with it.

Also, the 80's was the era of the text adventure. Yes, text adventures started in 1978 with Zork, but the 80's had Beyond Zork, The Lurking Horror, Wishbringer, Amnesia, and a whole bunch of others.
