I think darker pigmentation is dominate in most cases. Besides, there is no such thing as a black or white race. Those are generalized terms that are not based on genetics. The terms Sub-Saharan African and European are probably more appropriate, but I haven't kept up with genetic ancestry since I'm more concerned with genetic predisposition for disease.
