How the **** did Sapphira stay an admin?

Off topic, I know, but this thread reminds me of her so much.

But yeah, some internet memes are great, some suck. Most of my favorites are troll memes, like Moon Man, the only good meme from that rotting pile known as YTMND.

As for irl memes, don't really care for them.

Your mom?

Nope. It's the greatest troll TMK has ever had to go through: marioguy.

Shame on you new kids for not looking up on old TMK history. Shame.

I almost certainly jizzed in my pants from hearing the news... NOT from seeing the below image. Just thought I'd clear that up before anyone saw the oppurtunity to make some snarky comment.

Are you a /b/rotha by any chance?

$30? Killer. I actually protested DKJB at some point (yeah...DKUism), but when I finally played it on the Gamecube I thought it was fantastic. I just hope this Wii port is every bit as fun as the GC version.

Ze spirt of Alucard lives in ze sole of all mankind.

Ugh, I was a bit crazy with my sock puppet accounts back in the day. Yes, Alucard was actually me all along...there was no hacking of accounts, just me being childish and creating sock puppet accounts.

Drugs are important.  They help pain!

The pills I take for pain are also street narcotics.

Bumping a thread by Killa of PS2 for the lose.

Grand Theft Auto IV
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
Wario Land: Shake It!
Some supplies for my PSP
Futurama Volume 2
Some expensive cigars
A cool Mario T-Shirt
Guitar Belt Buckle
and last but certainly not least, Batman: The Complete Animated Series.

So yeah, I had a pretty good Xmas this year myself.

General Chat / Re: Favorite Comic Book Publishers

^Top Cow is part of Image Comics. I didn't add it for the same reason I didn't add Vertigo, Wildstorm, CMX or Icon Comics. (the former three owned by DC and the latter owned by Marvel).

I have no favorite publisher, though I will make it known that I haven't read any Marvel stuff in ages due to lack of interest (I've heard plenty about what's gone on from my dad and from the Internet, and it just keeps making me lose more and more interest - I think it might be negative now?), and I don't think I've read anything published by Image. Also, instead of Shueisha, shouldn't you have the names of the American manga publishers (TOKYOPOP, Viz, ADV) listed? Also also, shouldn't this be the kind of poll where you can pick multiple options?

Well, I didn't want the poll over crowded with manga translating companies, but whatever, I added them.

I suppose multiple options would've been best. Too bad I can't change that option.

General Chat / Favorite Comic Book Publishers
« on: November 15, 2008, 07:16:12 AM »
Lately I've been into comic books, and I wanted to know what everyone's favorite comic book publishers are.

I used to read nothing but manga, particularly Shonen Jump manga, and while I still do read manga (mainly One Piece and Dragon Ball) since I began reading other comics I've grown to really like DC Comics. I've always been a fan of the DCAU, but never read the comics until more recently. The comics are quite a joy to read whether they be the latest or ones from the nineties. I've also read a bit of Marvel, but I personally prefer DC.

I agree with everything Forest said here. If all drugs weren't prohibited, we'd have far less crime and there would be less people finding new ways to get high. There are tons of new, disgusting drugs out there (Jenkem anyone?) and they're just going to keep piling up unless the drugs we already have are legalized.

And I agree with Trainman that marijuana should already be legal (it actually is in Colorado from what I've heard).

Not at the Dinner Table / Re: Election 2012
« on: November 11, 2008, 07:03:37 AM »
I think it could be Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee. The Republican party usually seems to take turns and since these guys were close at times on winning the GOP ticket, I think they have a good chance. I really don't think Palin is going to run in 2012. She's mainly popular with just the Republican party, not so much the people of the United States. At least Romney and Huckabee are popular with the Religious Right. Maybe I'm wrong though.

But either way, 2012 is going to be earth's final year, so I don't care. :P
