Here's a cute detail: the Miiverse code refers to Yeahs as "empathy".

This won't be Link's first time racing against cars:

Grade-A Miiverse post.

The new tracks will surely have music from their own series. The real question is whether it will be an old arrangement or will the MARIO KART BAND reconvene.

When using the Pro or other controller in single player is it possible to turn off the Gamepad screen and have the map show up on the TV
You can turn off the GamePad screen anytime by pressing the HOME Button, then go to Controller Settings, then Display Off.

It turns back on the moment you press a GamePad button so it's only useful when you're using a different controller.

I DO disagree that the roster can be oversaturated with an archetype, in a game that allows players to simultaneously use the same character. Saturation wouldn't cause a problem unless your main was Random.

Lucina's purpose is to be a n00b-friendly Marth. For a n00b who likes Marth but doesn't manage his sword sweet spot range, using Lucina can only improve his game. I've seen a fair amount of this exact type of player so I think Lucina's design is smart. (Only problem is the n00b probably won't realize this stuff anyhow.)

And Turtlekid1, I wouldn't call Lucina's in-story reason "very good". She calls herself Marth but her fighting style in-story is a Chrom clone. So it's more like "kinda good if you squint" level.

I disagree about the plot maturity. Several conversations gain new meaning on replay once you understand what's actually going on with the Shovel Knight, Shield Knight, and Black Knight situation. The dream sequences cannily set up a massive emotional moment that you wouldn't have thought much of at all without them. And the post-credits scene is one of the most touching moments in videogame history. I can't think of any NES games on this plot level.

Video Game Chat / Re: Mii Maker Audio Sync Issue
« on: June 17, 2014, 07:27:53 PM »
My TV has sound lag if I use HDMI. Because of this, I always use HDMI video and RCA audio with my systems. When the Wii U launched, it didn't have the option to split it up like this and so if I used HDMI, the GamePad sound would be real-time and the TV sound would be delayed, i.e., out of sync. I went back to component video until the patch that let you use HDMI for video only (with both of these methods the GamePad sound was of course perfectly in sync).

So, your TV doing digital processing with the HDMI is probably delaying your sound. Try hooking the Wii U up with RCA sound and see what happens.

Do you have any other systems using HDMI? If so, they probably have delayed sound too. You just may have never noticed.

Wait, what was the fictional version I was playing?
The PS3 version

And yeah, Microsoft really just took a whole day to embarrass themselves.
No they didn't. They had more interesting new stuff than Sony. And they didn't have a half hour of executives and writers talking about TV shows and movies.
