Picture this: You find out that Mario is not going to appear in any more games. In his place will be Bounce-Bounce, the breakdancing cactus! How do you react?

Whoa, a breakdancing cactus? Well, that's pretty dang cool, but I'd still miss Mario for a while until I got used to the cactus.

PLUS! Deezer already has a cactus sight. ^_^

Well, if the gameplay of the old 2D games remains the same, not a whole lot. I mean, watching a breakdancing cactus after you beat a level would be pretty cool. Although I wouldn't look at Nintendo quite the same anymore...

A cactus might actually might be cool to play as...
as long as it is wearing blue overalls.
Any goomba that attacks you would stab out its eyes on your spikes and then you could do a supah fly quintuple headspin.

Parappa the Rapper is one type of dancing/whatever the heck you wanna call it type game. Short, but gets harder...

I made a thread similar to this; It was the first topic I ever posted when I joined here. Anyway, the topic was, "THE UNTHINKABLE: What if Miyamoto... RETIRES?!"

On topic: The cactus would be cool. I don't know if I would boycott Nintendo products. I would be EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY mad, though.
