Okay...
So we all know that Mario is an adult...
But have you ever wondered how old is he specifically? Because you know that adulthood spans at a very long range of years...
It is quite hard to tell if he's in his twenties or thirties...
But not just Mario, what about the other Super Mario characters?
Have you ever wondered how old Peach is? Have you ever wondered how old Wario is? Have you ever wondered how long does it take a Toad or a Yoshi to reach adulthood? Have you ever wondered how long did it take Bowser to grow as big he is looks now?

Let's discuss this issue, shall we?

Mario and Luigi are probably in their mid 30s.
Wario is most likely older than Mario and Luigi.
Waluigi is the youngest of the plumbers.
Peach is probably in her early 30s.

A yoshi reaches adulthood after eating three enemys or one star. Also, In Donkey Kong arcade, Mario had a stache, and was therefore not born that year, but he would be that age in terms of how long he has existed. In terms of Wario and Waluigi, I suspect that they are twins, like Mario and Luigi.

The common theory is that Mario and Luigi are in their mid thirties, Peach is probably in her late 20s.

And since they don't age, they really don't have ages anyway.

The Andorian Mining Consortium runs from no one.
That was a joke.

Well, my answers. Rifle-shot, yes, but that is my style.

Mario and Luigi, I presume, are 38.
Peach is 27, about.
Toads likely take about as long as average people to mature.
Yoshies, if you disregard the SMW theories, likely take... maybe 2 years to mature? Hard to say, although once mature, I doubt they age at all.
Bowser is an odd character -- his height proportionate to Mario's changes radically depending on the game. In the SMB series, and in M&L: SS, Bowser seems to be about twice the height of the Bros. -- In SM64 and the N64 MP games, Bowser is about 6 times Mario's height. Erm... this is perhaps the biggest lack of continuity in the Mario series.

Just my .02 pesos.

Actually, I'd put them younger...
Mario and Luigi:  ~27
Peach:  ~24
Yoshi: ~29 --slightly older than the bros YI. (in human years, anyway; their growth rate seems different)
Bowser: ~29 (human years, once again)
Wario: ~28
Waluigi: ~27 (same as Mario and Luigi)
Daisy: ~23

The characters ages are not determined by what their appearences tell you, but by how long the characters have existed! That is what AGE is.

Hmm!

Okay, TheEggMan, let's say this the year 2081 and Nintendo released for its (estimated-to-be) fifteenth console a game called Super Mario Bro.s 100...

Nintendo released this game so to celebrate Super Mario's 100th anniversary...

And, oh look! Mario and Luigi looks very young indeed, and Peach is still as beautiful as ever!!

Are you sure that real time determines the age of fictional characters?

I have created a theory based on information I have studied and gathered. Mario is exactly 28 years old as of Super Mario World. You can trust me.
200 characters and nothing to say.

It doesn't affect the characters age in the fictional world that they live in but it affects their age in the real world.
So in the real world Mario is approx. 23, in the games though he is probably modeled to look late-30's, early-forties.

"A yoshi reaches adulthood after eating three enemys or one star."
Isn't it five enemies?
As for Mario's age, I'd say he's a year older than last year, but not as old as he'll be next year.
