No, they are seperate programs. I have both.
The NAV I have is the corp. ed. for mfg. only. It is mostly for viruses. I have also tried McAfee and Panda AntiVirus, but found the NAV blocked and disabled some virus that the others could not.
NIS is the best firewall available in my opinion. It has security, personal firewall, intrusion detection, privacy control, ad blocking, spam alert, and parental control.
If this sounds like a ad, in a since it is. Last year when I got Broadband again I did not have a virus scan or firewall program. So, I got a nasty virus and had spyware on my machine. The only programs that fixed my probs were by Norton.
