But it isn't a rule. At least, it isn't announced on the rules thread.

Na. Negative CT's are a GREAT way to announce to the entire forum population one's behavior in *cough* private messages.

I mean, sure, they may scare away new potential members who are afraid they'll be "hazed" with bad CTs, but as long as we're having fun, that's all that matters, right?

RIGHT?

It's common sense. Spam is annoying.

I didn't see any rule about the PM system. Why would you report him? He's just trying to get help with his website. He's not selling anything, right?

This is true, but it's not like he sent just one or two emails out to people asking for specific help. He sent them to a lot of people, and if I remember correctly it just said stuff like "If you like (insert video game that i can't remember here) then come join this forum!! But you don't need to join if you don't need to."

I'd say definitely spam, even though that last part was in there.

Here here.  Now, I am definitely one who does not want a negative CT.  But if I had a regular CT, I'd want it to say something like, "Loyal, trustworthy, and loves retro videogames."  Or maybe "Playing Super Smash brothers...AND LOVING IT!"

You just jinxed yourself Jman...with some weird CT that I can't figure out. I mean what does Celsuis and Fahrenhiet have to do with you?

Oh wait now I get it. Man am I slow.
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

I don't get it. 0 degrees Farenheit converted to Celsius is -17.778° C.
Remember that your first Goomba boldly you walk? When Mario touched that mushroom being brought up more largely remember that you are surprised? Miscalculate your jump that pit remember that it falls?

I get it!  They're saying I'm cold.  Like stone cold.  That is a weird custom title that doesn't apply to me at all.  I guess I asked for it when I brought up the subject.  Maybe it's got something to do with my signature.

Heh, it's funny. Right when I posted that I got a new CT of Phoenix Wright. What does that mean?

 Ace Attorney.

Beautiful. I wish I was as clever as whomever solicited that title.

Just perfect.

EDIT: Says the pot to the kettle. :p
