I'm a fanfic writer myself, but the other message board I write to is down. At least it gives me time to think a while, and it also gives me time to look at other places too! Thing is, I've got quite a few usernames and passwords to remember! So I finally got around to putting them on MSWord for future reference. Anyway, one thing I WILL NOT miss during the time the other message board is down, are the weirdos on the boards! They drive me nuts! I'm sure the rest of you guys had this happen to you, too. All those weirdos that just wan't to goof of and spam a lot, or just post stupid replies to stuff like "The Never-Ending Fanfic" (which is one of the fanfics on the other message board, and I know you guys probably know that this means that anybody can continue where somebody left off). Actually, somebody got kicked off for spamming or something like that. I'm actually happy, because that user got REALLY anoying at times! ^_^
Anyway, you're probably wanting to ask me "what is this 'other message board'?" Well, here's how it goes. . . *deep breathe* When the Nintendo website was still at the original format, I liked to check out the fan sites from time to time, and one of the sites I liked to visit was this one. I also liked to visit Super Mario 64 Central, which is now called Super Mario 128 Central (You guessed it! It was this one!). Anyway, when Nintendo changed the layout of the site, all the fan site links were gone, so I only had SM128C and this site under my favorites to visit. After a while, I got started into the SM128C message boards and went there a lot of the time! The boards were only closed once before this, but this time, I decided to look into other sites for message boards (Like this one and another, but don't ask about the other! It'll only squeeze my brain even more!). And THAT'S how I got here. Whew!
In a nutshell, I just like to write fanfics. I also like to read some, too, but only if they REALLY catch my attention. Like what some of you put, I hate it when they put charaters in as the story goes, or do something to the existing characters (like Mario & the gang) that would be a real drag to the story.
Whew! I feel like I just wrote a speech. I think I'll shut up now. . . ^_^';;
