I haven't heard from Khold...in forever. The last I heard of her was right before she left. We also spoke for a while and she said she was going to help me with my Nintendo :\. I haven't heard from her in AGES.

I'm not leaving here. I am leaving the chartroom for a bit. I'm having a bit of trouble with my laptop...I cannot seem to get Trillian to work, the Java version won't connect, and I don't wish to pay for mIRC. I am not sure what the problem is, but I am trying to work it out.

If anyone could supply me with the technical help, I would greatly appreciate it.

EDIT: the Java error is telling me that the software is causing a connection abort.

I use Pidgin instead of Trillian now for all IM and IRC communication.
In any case, have you checked your antivirus/firewall settings? For instance, I know McAfee blocks the IRC ports by default, making it look like all IRC programs are broken.
