Mario Chat / The Mauser Show!
« on: September 03, 2001, 06:22:38 AM »
This is basically another talk show designed so that you, the viewers, can unload all of your irr-and semi-relevant questions, not worthy of the MarioNut#1 Show.

I personally guarantee* a free Hawaiian island to the first one who calls in with a pointless question!~

* not a valid guarantee.

I think it would be cool if every once and a while WTMK had a short radio show; just news and stuff. Maybe people could send in their own stuff, I don't know.
And yes, this is just a crazy idea that would probably require too much time and effort to achieve; I'm starting this thread to find out how many people are in support on this concept (or not).

»Other Notes:
> This should be my last new topic in a while; sorry it's getting kinda crowded.
> This probably should have been on the other board, but that place is kinda deserted, so here I am. Sorry for the inconvientience.

Mario Chat / Koopa Mechaniks.
« on: August 31, 2001, 12:27:38 AM »
King Bowser Koopa is a large turtle like creature who is larger than conventional Koopas, but has a spiked shell and has hair. Can speak english (and japanese too, I suppose), but when he plays sports, most of his speech is limited to a series or snarls and roars.

Koopa Troopas and ParaKoopas are a speecies of intellegent turtles that, after fifteen short years have learned to walk upright and build houses. Koopas typically have colored shells and no specific loyalties as a whole. Koopa names usually contain the letters 'Koo' or 'Ko' as the first 3 (or 2) letters; eg: Koover, Kooper, Koopa Koot, Kolorado.

Some Koopas train as either Ninjas, known as Ninjakoopas, in the art or magic and called Magikoopas, or as Bowser's elite guard called the Koopatrol.

Some Koops breeds grow to several times the normal koopa's size, in common are King Bowser Koopa and Kent C. Koopa. Their paratroopa equivalents go by two different names; Tub-O-Troopas (greeen shells) and Heavy Troopas (red shells).
*note* shell colors may have been reversed.

» Further notes:
> This is a rehash of another recent post of mine. I liked it so much I decided to make a thread of it.
>If I make too many new topics, someone tell me and I'll try to stop.  Please try to have a good reason handy, though, as I don't work well without them.

Mario Chat / What IS this secret page?
« on: August 30, 2001, 11:34:31 PM »
I keep seeing references to this mysterious file on outdated threads, but I'm new here and have no idea of what it is.

» NOTE «
This is not a request as to where the page IS (althought that would be nice). I simply what to know WHAT it is supposed to be and why it exists.

Thanks.

Mario Chat / The Shy Squad versus Bowyer
« on: August 30, 2001, 11:04:54 PM »
Who would win? Bowyer (Rose Woods boss from SMRPG) has a lot of HP but lacks the mass destructive power needed against multiple targets. The Shy Squad (General Guy's first phase) isn't very powerful but has the advantage of being several targets and not just one.

I think the Shy Squad would loke if it only had 15 members as it did in Paper Mario, but with more troops, say 30 or 40, could easily clean Bowyer's clock.

Mario Chat / Dissention
« on: August 30, 2001, 07:21:42 AM »
Has anyone noticed that gradually, all of Bowser's allies have left him for Mario's side (or neutrality)?

Kind of sad, really.
Bowser's castles keep getting blown to bits, all his friends leave him, his kinds have stopped coming around, poor guy seems to fail at every  ting he tries.

Maybe he wasn't evil to begin with? Maybe he had such a horrible run-of-bad-luck he lost his final marble and flipped out; taking out his agression by kidnapping princesses and stomping stuff.

Or maybe he's just a jerk, I dunno.

His size is kind of inconsistant, too.  In Super Mario 64 he's about 15 feet tall by the look of things, but in SMRPG he's only about 6 ft. tall. Then in Paper Mario he grows to roughly 8 feet tall and then AGAIN to probably around 12 or 15 feet.

If there's some explanation for this that someone has concocted, please share!

I think it's connected to his self confidance somehow, the more self-assured, the larger he gets.

Just a thought.

Mario Chat / ParaKarry (Paper Mario) vs. Mauser (SMB2)
« on: August 30, 2001, 06:37:58 AM »
This isn't a stupid question, is it? Honestly, I think it couldn't end well no matter WHO won.

I wanted another opinion on it, so here I am.

Mario Chat / The New World
« on: August 30, 2001, 06:25:43 AM »
Am I the only one even slightly disturbed by the fact that Mario and his friends 'create' entire worlds, just so they can play a game in them?

I just think it's kinda eerie to have a small group of people -- not only  able to move from one 'world' to another, but being able to make new ones, too.
