I'm thinking something like this might be fun to do. What do you think we'll see at the big show this year?

Wii
Smash Bros.
No Mario platformer shown

Nintendo DS
Mario Party
Zelda title

GameCube
Zelda: Twilight Princess (duh)

Well that's all I can think of right now.

Latest News / Nintendo Revolution renamed
« on: April 27, 2006, 12:09:51 PM »
Nintendo Wii

Quote from: Nintendo Press Room
As in "we."

While the code-name "Revolution" expressed our direction, Wii represents the answer.

Wii will break down that wall that separates video game players from everybody else.

Wii will put people more in touch with their games ... and each other. But you're probably asking: What does the name mean?

Wii sounds like "we," which emphasizes this console is for everyone.

Wii can easily be remembered by people around the world, no matter what language they speak. No confusion. No need to abbreviate. Just Wii.

Wii has a distinctive "ii" spelling that symbolizes both the unique controllers and the image of people gathering to play.

And Wii, as a name and a console, brings something revolutionary to the world of video games that sets it apart from the crowd.

So that's Wii. But now Nintendo needs you.

Because, it's really not about you or me.

It's about Wii.

And together, Wii will change everything.

Fishing in Finland, 3 minutes: 3 errors, 73 net WPM

I stopped there because my wrists got tired. XP

Site Discussion / TMK credits project
« on: December 04, 2005, 05:16:26 PM »
That's right, we're trying to complete the collection of Mario game credits. Anyone who supplies credits will be credited on the credits list page.

How to contribute
I will need a video (.AVI/.MP4/.MOV/YouTube/etc.) of the entire credits roll. For easily-emulated games, a save state will suffice. For games that happen to have credits in the manual, a scan of the page(s) containing the credits is okay. Supply me with the means to see the credits and I will type them up. Also, confirming that no credits exist in any game will help.

*Note: If you need a way to send a video file, try a file hosting service such as http://www.dropbox.com

The FF is back! We have worked hard to capture the look and feel of the original ASPforum, without all the broken features.

We may still be tweaking a few things here or there, so feel free to post comments or suggestions in this thread.

(Note that the "Help" section is a little off but it should get you on the right track.)
