Videogame maker Nintendo Co. Ltd. surged ahead of an expected dividend increase.

The hottest stock of the day (Wednesday) was Nintendo, which shot up to end 3.6 percent higher at ¥12,250. Shortly before the close on the Osaka Securities Exchange, it confirmed a report it would pay a dividend of ¥270 for the year ended in March, ¥130 higher than a year earlier.

It also lifted its net profit estimate for the same year to ¥82 billion ($757.4 million) from ¥70 billion.

According to Deezer and/or MEGAߥTE the "Latest news" forum is for "The latest developments in Mario’s world."  I'm taking a slight stretch with this post and considering news about Nintendo to count as news in Mario's world since Mario would not exist without Nintendo.  If I stretched too far I am sure one of them will let me know.

Nuts! I need to go to New York to see what exclusive stuff they're talking about. Pity there's not Nintendo World in Seattle.
