Mario Chat / Just a wittle' Question...

First off, I'm back again. My sudden disapearances have probably been accepted as a natural part of life (what?) by now. But here's my Q:
Is Mario 128 just going to be about picking up bricks, or was that jsut a tech demo to show off stuff? Becuase if that was the real deal...Wow!

The story starts one dreary day with a headache. A...Chocobo knew he couldn't hide his love for S...Tifa anymore, he decided that it would have to be the day. Take the chance, go home happy, y' know.
Little did he know what was going to happen.

At the end of the day, I...Mean Chocobo decided to simply go up to her locker and ask her the question.
It then happened in a daze, my...Chocobo shly said, "I reall you like you S...Tifa and I needed to know how you feel..."
hiding her face by the locker, Chocobo didn't know what to think.
"What did you say?"
She turned to Chocobo and smiled sweetly. Chocobo's mind dind't know what to think, so he thought everything first and everything last, and in between he simply thought everthing.
"...Freind." She finished, and looked a little shyly.
Chocobo didn't have a clue what she said, but decided to reply.
"Thank you s...Tifa. Have a good day."

Mario Chat / Buzzy Beatle vs. Koopa Troopa!

Yes, I've been wanting to do another Versus post for awhile. I put aside Chocoboes vs. Yoshis caus it was outta series.
But you know that this conflict would come along someday. I mean, Buzzies were more or less palete swaps of Koopa Troopas with a bit of editing, right? And so they were fire proof too! Well, the Koopa Troopas went and evolved into such things as Para-Koopa Troopas and Mecha Koopas and the whole works. however, it is promised that Buzzy beatle will return in Paper Mario. So, now it's come to blows. Who will win?
And I wonder if somebody will join with the name "The Beatles" because of this post?

Has anybody seen the spaceworld ad that shows some oblong black button and then start? Go look for it on Videogames.com if not. So, whatCHA think it is? I personaly belive it's the Gameboy advance, because somehow I though the Dolphin's controller would be bigger...

Mario Chat / Are you a non biased gamer?

Boy, I must be running out of good ideas for topics. By Non biased gamer, I mean are you not some nintendo purists who automaticaly scoffs at everything non-Nintendo? Also, are you biased against certain games, or types of games?
I am a big fan of all three major systems (And their ancestors) however I admit I don't care for the X-box due to it's just a shameless attempt for money. Never have liked Bill Gates.

I rather enjoyed his hilarious comments and his ability to speak the truth. I remeber when I asked a question on the help board and he responded ????????. See, now most people would go away shaking their heads, but good ol Zootalo was going to say exactly how his felt.
Or this that selective memory thing?

Earthobund64 may not be coming to the big US. Yes, I know all of you are pointing your little Mario only guns at me, but remeber, HAL team helped make Mario Party 1 @2, and Super Smash Bros...And KIRBY! (Did that get anybody's attention...?) If you are outraged as much as I am about this, please run, not walk, to www.starmen.net and sign the pettetion. After this started, EB64 suddenly jumped back onto the future games list...But there has been no confirmation...Only you can help now.

I know how much everybody here loves the good ol chocoboster, but I was having some stupid Computer problems...Everytime I tried to come to these forums, after about five seconds, I'd be booted to a failed to load page page. Did anybody else have these problems? Or is my computer not worth hamsters?

Mario Chat / Bowser VS Wart

Okay, this isn't quite as epic as the Shy Guys vs Goombas (and as before, my opinion is silenced...) but I think it's evenly matched. Wart and Bowser are about the same size (Or at least they were until Mario 64 turned him into Godzilla) and aboutthe same in strength. And no replys like "Wart sux me hamster", okaydo?

Mario Chat / Mario World Arcade Cartridge?

When I was little, I remeber playing a game of Mario World, except it was different from the one we know and love. There were different parts, like you know in the forest of illusion? The first stage there was a castle, and in the plains after that, there was a warp star on the mountain thingy. I only got to rent the Mario world game and SNES for two days, but I'm not sure if it was a dream or if it was a reality (I remeber it so vividly). You guys know me, I don't BS people. Was this a dream or not? Could it possible be the arcade cartridge version? Did somebody hack it?

Did anybody notice how similar the Yoshis are to the Chocoboes? They are both rided on like horses, and come in different colors. The only really big diffrences (besides the bird/dinosaur thing) is the fact that Chocobo dosn't eat everything. But the fact is, there is a type of Chocobo called Chubby/Fat Chocobo that eats everything too! SO did Miyamoto have a certian bird in mind when he created the green dragon we all love, or is merely a conwinsidensee?

Video Game Chat / Are games losing their quality?

I rented a Dreamcast, a 128 bit system, and invited a freind over. Instead of playing any of those games, we ended up playing NES and SNES games the whole time (after a quick tria run). Instead of running in a 128 bit three dimensional platformer, we were playing Chip N Dale for the NES. Instead of battling gigantic bosses, we were battling the endless waves of foot soldiers. Is it just me, or are games losing their quality? They just don't seem to have the "umph" they used to way back when.
First of all, don't go bashing Sega, and espcialy not Chip N Dale. What do you think about this? Have you experinced this too?

If the Shy Guys and the GOombas were to have a war, who do you think would win? The Good ol Goombas, or the Menacing Shy Guys? Post your opinion and why you think that team would be victorious, and I don't want answers like, "Dur, Goombas rock!". What do you think?
