General Chat / You, Nerds.

This poll functions on the concept that being a nerd is a undesirable trait (it is). Don't bother to vote or enter in discussion if you feel otherwise.

I made this in a cave out of spare parts.

Post and/or send me a high resolution picture of your mug and I'll do the same to you.

Forum Games / The REAL Astronaut Story 3: Defiled Inheritence
« on: August 08, 2011, 06:36:16 PM »
Your father has just died. On his deathbed he had started to tell you something about your grandfather that you never met. It seemed important, something to do with the Krikk invasion from before you were born; he also seemed to mention something about gold. However, in his dying breaths his words became incomprehensible, and he died muttering about fortune, regret, and dereliction of duty.

Several months later you are in your dull office building, typing reports about other reports about desk chair durability tests. You not only failed to live up to your grandfather's wild legacy as a brave, brilliant astronaut, but your life devoid of love, meaning, or spectacle even pales in comparison to your father's modest life as a loving husband and father. Your inherent greyness has blended in to the grey world around you.

A coworker watching the Noon news in the break room suddenly exits and begins whispering to other employees in all the cubicles around you. You find that everyone on the massive floor is now looking in your direction; shock, disgust, and horror on their faces. Through the window behind your cubicle, 20 floors below, you see a small, but unruly (hard to tell from so high up) gathering of people at the entrance of the building.

What do you do?

Video Game Chat / Name Tag 2: The Taggening/Name Harder/Tokyo Drift
« on: January 03, 2011, 06:00:57 PM »
Rejoice and praise the name of Jebus, for I have randomly found a 2nd Name Tag in Team Fortress 2. This time things will get a little more specific, I'm going to let people think of nicknames for the plain ol' Shotgun. Nothing else, just the Shotgun. I don't want to read about the stupid names you have for other stuff. After I have some names we will vote.

I got a randomly dropped nametag in TF2, what should I name, and what should I name it? I'm particularly keen to rename the Medi Gun, Sandvich, or Shotgun. Cool pop culture references a plus, but original material is okay too if you don't mind me using it.

Here are some that I thought of:

Homewrecker - Oh Baby! (Fallout: New Vegas), Tim "The Toolman" Taylor (Home Improvement)
Medi Gun - Moral Support, Jesus Loves You
Sandvich - Some real sandwich name.
Shotgun - The Terrible Shotgun (Fallout 3), Gunshot, 12 Gauge Gus
Wrench - Mr. Fix-It

Let me know of any ideas or if you think I should use any of the names already listed by myself or anyone else. I'll add any good suggestions to the above list.

P.S.: 40 characters are allowed, try to keep it at least reasonably SFW so I don't get banned or something, but I'm not afraid of a some sauciness.

Not at the Dinner Table / Coalition of Parties for Lizard Dude as Urinal
« on: November 02, 2009, 05:15:50 PM »
In honor of this thread, I am going to try drinking my own urine. I will film the process and post it here.

This thread is for all parties interested in the development and execution of the concept as presented by Lizard Dude on August 5th 2009.

Yet to be answered questions:

Is there a deadline for this auto-urine therapy?

Why has preparation taken so long?

What liquids will be ingested to produce the urine?
