Really, it's like, at least to me, they mixed the best of each of the previous games while adding several new features to improve it.  I too love the board variations.

Just as a random question, what is everyone's record in Endurance Alley?  So far, the farthest I've gotten is 47 consecutive wins, though I understand that when one reaches 100 something happens.

My favorite game is probably Dunk Bros., one of the four rare minigames.  As for a regular minigame, probably Insectiride.  My least favorite is definitely Boo'd Off the Stage.

I managed to get 5670 degrees in Snow Whirled - I thought that was pretty good.  Oh and 17.20 seconds in circuit maximus.

The mic is only used in party mode at random.  If a 1 vs 3 game is in effect, it will either play like normal or suddenly switch to a mic game.  That's only happened for me once or twice.

So now, actually due partially to responses on this forum, I own mario party 6.  I have to say that it is fantastic.  The solo mode can get tedious, but it's a quick way to unlock all the special features.  I think the game could have used a better intro and I think, as I carefully choose words to avoid spoilers, that certain unlockable pages in a certain book could have been far more entertaining and valuable than they were.  Something very interesting to me is that each board has a special mode of play.  I don't know if 5 did this because I never played it, but from what I can tell only 2 of the 6 boards use the standard procedure of the star appearing in a random location and following with the race to get it first - for instance, in one board, everyone starts with 5 stars at the start, and then rides chain chomps into each other to steal the stars of the opponent.  I really like these additions to the board.  The placing of orbs on the board (again I haven't played 5 but have heard of orbs being in it) has been really entertaining so far.  And the mic recognition is really nice, though the novelty of it wears off after awhile and you're just left with mario party.

So again, I'm good for music also if you need it, but I happen to be listening to WTMK right now, and I just heard a Wario World song play.  I've been looking for wario world music online for such an incredibly long time...if you can't for one reason or another tell me where you got it, could you at least give me a hint in the right direction?  It would be MUCH appreciated, as that is one of the better game soundtracks I've heard in quite a while.

I don't have this game yet, but I am planning to buy one of the mario party games for gamecube - meaning 4, 5, or 6.  Originally, I wanted to buy 6 because it has 80 games and supposedly a better one-player mode, but I read several reviews saying that it is nothing but "a fresh coat of paint on an old building".  So now I'm evenly divided between 4 and 6 (only because I have heard bad things about 5).  So I'm also basically wondering if 6 is worth the money and worth a purchase above 4, and also if anyone can say anything positive about 5 to change my mind.

Hey there, I haven't posted here for a long, long time - but I love dropping by WTMK every so often, and I'm curious, do you accept contributions of high-quality songs for WTMK?  I'd be happy to lend a few you might not have, if you're interested.

The first game I ever owned, the first game I ever beat, the first Mario game I ever owned, and the first Mario game I ever beat are all the same game - Super Mario Land for Gameboy.  I haven't kept exact count, but by now I've beaten it approximately 55 to 60 times.  Aahhh, the memories...

Anything and everything actually written/built by Nintendo itself (no third-party people) is a tie for the best game ever on my part.  The only exception to this is XIII by UbiSoft, which I also thoroughly enjoyed.
