I have to agree with Sapphira on this one.  Jon does not look like Mario.  Mario never had a thin mustache like the ones in Fifth's post either.

I know in the game it was the same.  I meant in the art for Donkey Kong Jr.  Mario was thin; I just assumed his moustache was thin as well.  For the record, I'm not supporting the Jon = Mario theory.
