Ok, either I'm really thick-headed, or this plugger stuff just doesn't make sense and isn't funny. I don't think it's the latter.

I don't think you're reading the captions underneath the comic. They're what's random.
"Be yourself. Everyone else is taken."

No, I'm reading them. I don't really understand what a "plugger" is, even after reading the Wikipedia article. Maybe that's the problem.

It's something that you understand if you've had the comic in your paper long enough. Too bad this is the only real way to explain it.
Remember that your first Goomba boldly you walk? When Mario touched that mushroom being brought up more largely remember that you are surprised? Miscalculate your jump that pit remember that it falls?

Oh. Seeing as I have never ever heard of this comic, I guess my confusion is understandable.

Since Garfield hasn't been posted here in awhile I'm going to post one of my favorite comics:  http://www.shigabooks.com/strips/fleep/scroll.html
“Evolution has shaped us with perceptions that allow us to survive. But part of that involves hiding from us the stuff we don’t need to know."

The ending to that was sad, Luigison! So he did end up using up all of his oxygen, and going with the girl he loves (which doesn't sound that sad, but it is if you knew the circumstances).
Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??

Yes, after I read Luigison's link I also thought it was rather depressing.

It ended like that because it was canceled by the mag before the author/artist had time to give it a satisfactory conclusion.

That's nice, but what's random about it besides syrup?  IDGI.  Syrup for Jon's coffee?  Garfield wants pancakes?

Anyway, the comic I posted was canceled because it wasn't Asian enough.

(LD's Randumb Garfield Image)

This is the funniest one yet! Also thanks for ending the stream of unfunny Realfield posts, LD. (Realfield's eyes move, it isn't a statue dudes!)

EDIT: I see that the stream was interrupted already.
