I opted to do the lap skip by going backwards at the start, and jumping through the left wall at the edge of the tunnel back in MK64.

They could just modify it like they did with various other levels added to MK Wii. Note how you can't climb up the hill at the end of DK's Jungle Parkway anymore, and you have to go around.

That was the most memorable thing about the course.

I saw videos of that, but I never actually tried it. I'm going to hook up my N64 and test that out.

Also on DK's Jungle Parkway, they changed the big jump over the river.

At least now there's actually room to turn left from where you're intended to land.

Ribbon Road blew, especially on 150cc where all the CPUs hit the boost strips perfectly while you struggle to make sure you don't crash into a wall.

However, Cheese Land did indeed rule as well as Lakeside Park and Sky Garden.
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

Lakeside Park and Sky Garden are indeed awesome. But the whole awesome of Ribbon Road is perfectly hitting those boost pads. Doing it right is such a great thing.
That was a joke.

I wasn't that big a fan of super circuit, something about it just didn't feel right. this could be due in part to intelligent systems co-developing it. it wasn't a BAD game infact it's my 4th favorite mario kart right behind super,64 and ds but i DID have a odd feeling to it even the guys over at retronauts felt it had a different vibe than past mario karts listen what they have to say here http://download.gamevideos.com/Podcasts/Retronauts/041008.mp3

Uh, you do realize that Intelligent Systems is an internal Nintendo development team like EAD, right?
That was a joke.
