The email that Nintendo sent me bills Super Mario Bros. as "Mario and Luigi. Together for the very first time."

That's wrong, isn't it?

Extreme Akim: Sugar Ray, bring over the evidence.  In the arcade version of Donkey Kong, Jr., there are clearly Mario brothers present even though they all wear red and blue.  What does that tell us?

I noticed that in the e-mail too, it's just a plan to attract people to the game who don't know much about gaming history. Speaking of Classic NES Inaccuracy (not Ad, though), in Animal Crossing, when you read data from the Jumpman Mario e-card, it says it's his graphic from Donkey Kong when it's obviously Super Mario Bros.! And they call it Jumpman...

Do the Mario! Swing your arms from side to side, come on, it''s time to go do the Mario! Take one step, and then again, let''s do the Mario all together now! You got it! It''s the Mario! Do the Mario! Swing your arms from side to side, come on, it''s time to go do the Mario! Take one step, and then again! Let''s do the Mario altogether now! Come on now! Just like that!

There's also another error in that very same ad... For Donkey Kong:
"Rescue the fair princess from the clutches of Donkey Kong."

Last time I checked, Pauline wasn't a princess. And Peach isn't even IN the game if they're thinking she's her...

On the commercial for the Classic NES games, they show the guy playing SMB and the guy on the voice-over says "Mario Bros.," further adding to this web of lies and deceit.

The universe is permeated with the odor of turpentine.

And in the SMBDX commercial where it says, "Now in full color!"

Uh... it was ALREADY in color before. Were they comparing it to as if they had made SMBDX BEFORE the GBC or something?

They need to fire these fools and get new ones. Sue them, too; judge Judy would tear their brains out. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, gosh, I love that show. It's fun to see her yell, make fun of people, make funny examples, etc., and I like to see how STUPID some people are on that show and any arguments or "might be fights" with Byrd on there. I LOVE IT!

*goes to a Properly Zoned Castle*

Judging by my game collection (I keep them in order purchased, by system), SMBDX was a moderately early GBC game. So I think the point of the ad was letting people know that Game Boys could now display Full Color, whatever that means. Was GB Green considered a color?

Mathis? MATHIS? Mathis sucks. He lets them bicker all the time and he is a poser. He has a big fancy courtroom and always has the people yelling back and forth instead of telling them to shut the heck up.

Best to Worst (IMO):

-Judge Judy
-Judge Joe Brown
-Judge Hatchet
-Judge Mathis
-The Texas Judge... they should fire that yankee who moved to Texas and get a real Texan on there.

How'd we get on the topic of judges? I'm pretty sure I've seen ad inaccuracy before, but I can't get any off the top of my head... well I geuss I have ad inaccuracy (kind of) but it doesn't have to do with Nintendo, or any game creeating company:

*Watching TV* *Dell commercial comes on*
Speaker: Now buy a brand-new Dell PC for under $500 Dollars...
*Looks carefully at TV* *Notices the $499.99*

Fou-Hundred and Ninety-Nine dollars and Ninety-Nine cense?!?!?!?!?!?!? Come on! You save one (1) cent.
(I think I spelled cense wrong)

This was in the Nintendo Power mailbag (I think Sept. 1998 issue):

David Frohlich: What if you made an N64 game based on the TV show 'Judge Judy?' You'd get to judge people who want to sue each other. Then, if they get mad at you, you can yell at them and tell them to be quiet. That would be awesome.

Nintendo Power: It sounds like someone needs to be pounded with a gavel. That would be awesome.
