All I can say is that when I look at Lizard's pose in the last picture, it makes me think of Mario. I'm not sure why exactly, but I know that the hat has something to do with it.

Whoa, how did you happen across that spelunking thing, Koopaslaya?! It doesn't seem to be linked from anywhere in TMK anymore. I remember it because I read it once, but that was like four years ago.

Suffix, as far as I know everyone else used QuickTime to play it. I think MP4 is a standard format, but for some reason it seems to fare better in QT just as AVI seems to have more of a home in Windows Media Player.



This is what Wikipedia has to say, anyway:

MPEG-4 Part 14 or *.mp4, is a file format (a so called container) specified as a part of the ISO/IEC MPEG-4 international standard. . . . Apple's QuickTime file format was the start point design of the *.mp4 file format. Although still very reminiscent of each other, *.mp4 has changed and been improved in many different ways apart from *.mov that they are really not the same file format anymore.

Glorb, for your own sake, you might not want to respond with more references. For even if they don't travel through some sort of wormhole, end up flooding the empty reaches of space around a couple of disgruntled planets, and through coincidental dual meaning in another language be insulting enough to start a giant war, they might pit you against Chup in a battle of your own. And since he's roughly king around here—and this isn't chess—he's probably not the best one against whom to brandish a flaming sword of referring insult.

An example of stolen content is what Vidgmchtr mentioned: Yoshi Lore's Paneru De Pon that is a slightly plagiarized and mostly copied version of TMK's Tetris "A-Hack": From Paneru De Pon to Tetris Attack.



That was a good find, Vid or whoever originally found it. It's pretty darn shameless for a site as nice-looking as Yoshi Lore (I've never heard of it before, but I think it has a nice look to it).



Interestingly, when I was checking into the above, I accidently ran into TMK's "This is not the secret page."

I played a particular level in Beetle Adventure Racing with a friend that I hadn't played before. Immediately after that, he and I went to a school dance (not together, of course, so please don't make a dumb joke). I was in eighth grade, and it was my first dance, so afterward that level in Beetle Adventure Racing always reminded me of the dance.

There was a time during a summer vacation one year when I was borrowing BattleTanx Global Assault from the same friend. For many mornings in a row I would play that game and eat a Schwan's Breakfast Pouch (similar to a breakfast-style Hot Pocket). Then for a long time afterward playing that game reminded me of the food. Maybe it still would.

GoldenEye 007 reminds of this friend himself because I played it with him a lot, and he was really, really good.
